Git integration is the deploy path that pulls site files from a Git repository onto the hosting account. The live files match a commit you already keep in Git, instead of a zip upload or an edit in the file manager.
You still use cPanel as the door. Git is the way the code arrives. Softaculous remains the one-click installer for packaged apps when you are not deploying your own repository.

Why it matters
