What it is
Varnish memory
Varnish memory is the RAM quota for the Varnish cache on the hosting account. Cached pages and objects live in that memory until they expire or are replaced.
This add-on raises that RAM. It is not the Varnish service itself. The live catalog sets the price you pay at checkout.

Why it matters
A small cache fills quickly on a busy site. When memory is full, Varnish drops older objects and the next visitor waits on PHP again.
Extra Varnish memory is for that limit. Pick it on the order form if you already run Varnish and the base RAM is not enough.
Where you use it
Choose Varnish memory on the order form when you create the account, or add it later from the client area if the catalog still offers it.
You still need the Varnish cache add-on if the plan does not include the service. Shared plans on this page show the base stack this extra RAM sits on.
